The Rare Book is a new project by Mark Baczoni. Mark studied History and History of Art at Cambridge University, and after graduating began his working career at the Book Department in Christie's King Street. He then went on to work for Christopher Sokol and Simon Finch, among others, and set up his own online venture, Polygraph Rare Books. In 2007, he began a long hiatus from the world of dealing (if not collecting!) rare books, before coming back into the fold in 2023 as one half of Fold the Corner Books. He left Fold the Corner in late 2025 and started The Rare Book in 2026.
